Initiated in 2016, the Finance and Investment Cell of Kirori Mal College is a student-driven initiative for knowledge amplification in the fields of Finance and Business with an aim to transform individuals into financial veterans, equipping them with the weapon of knowledge. We strive to produce an efficacious platform of opportunities to ignite the fire of creativity among those who have an appetite for brilliance. The cell aims to provide each member with a platform to escalate their skill sets and abilities, ideate and organize awe-inspiring events, garnish their marketing knacks and hence evolve as a leader. Each member joins as a young mind wanting to know more about the financial markets but leaves as confident individuals with a strong understanding of the financial world.

The Cell is the proud organiser of MULYA & ADHIMULYA which are among the top two events of Kirori Mal College. The event consists of several competitions like Case Study Competitions, Finance Treasure Hunts, Mock Stocks, Model Corporate Meets, Pitching Competitions, Quizzes and a lot more! We also publish Investreet- our annual journal which offers a plethora of meticulously curated content only to leave the readers wanting more. Since its inception, Finance and investment cell, Kirori Mal College has grown by leaps and bounds, establishing itself as one of the most eminent societies.

 

Dr. Sakshi Soni is an integral part of FIC, KMC, serving as the Convenor of the cell. She is a distinguished professor in the Department of Commerce at Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi. 

 

Dr. Soni's expertise in the field of accountancy and finance has played a vital role in fostering a culture of financial literacy among the students. Guided by her leadership, FIC has been working diligently towards the promotion of financial education and the empowerment of individuals. Her guidance has been instrumental in steering FIC's mission towards success.
